Who we are
We exist because every woman deserves somewhere safe to land.
The Girls Club Life is a community built on honesty, warmth, and the belief that no woman should have to struggle alone.
Meet the founder
Built by a woman who gets it
Girls Club Life CIC was created from lived experience, resilience, and a deep passion to help women feel seen, supported, and empowered.
After facing many struggles as a woman myself, including trauma and long-term mental health challenges, I realised how important safe spaces and supportive communities truly are. I have personally lived with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and suicidal thoughts, and there were times when I felt completely overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure how to keep going. Suicide attempts don't define a person but, living through it helps me support women in a way some people can't.
During my healing journey, I began to understand how many women silently carry pain while trying to navigate everyday life. So many struggle behind closed doors with trauma, mental health, low self-worth, loneliness, or the pressure of trying to stay strong for everyone else. Too often, women suffer in silence because they fear judgement or feel they have nowhere safe to turn.
The Girls Club Life CIC was founded to help change that.
I wanted to create a community where women could feel heard, supported, accepted, and never alone. A space built on compassion, honesty, healing, empowerment, and genuine connection. My experiences shaped the vision behind this organisation and gave me the determination to turn pain into purpose.
Our organisation exists to uplift women, encourage open conversations around mental health, promote wellbeing, and provide opportunities for growth, confidence, support, and health.
This organisation is more than a project — it is a reflection of survival, strength, and hope. By sharing my story openly, I hope other women know that even in the darkest moments, healing and connection are possible, and that there is always support available.
